Korean BBQ at Home

DH and I love Korean BBQ.  If you've ever been to LA and the valley, there's a smattering of All-You-Can-Eat KBBQ places around.  The prices are not bad too. Ranging from $14.99 - $19.99 depending on what type of meat you want.  But, we found a cheaper alternative -- KBBW at home!

Look at it this way, when you go out and get the AYCE, you'll only get to eat probably 2 or 3 additional serving and you get full right away.  That is assuming you stay in the joint for maybe 2 hours. To get your money's worth, also assuming you are with other people, you probably need to get 3 servings EACH.  If there are 4 people paying lets say $17.99 thats about $71.96 not including tax and tip and drinks!

Now, if you have those handy dandy tabletop stoves. All you have to do is go to the Korean market and buy the precut meat.  One package is about $4 - $7 max.  Between me and DH, we were only able to finish 2 packages and we are full already -- that is about $15 between the two of us.  See how much you can save?  You can also add other stuff and make it to your liking. For example -- hotdogs and squid! You can customize however you like.  Not only do you save money on the food, you also save gas and time. Try it!
