Pacific Coast Highway Road Trip Part 5

Last Part of the PCH Road Trip. WARNING! Picture heavy post!

We arrived in Monterey at about 3:00PM. Enough time for us to settle in the hotel and rest for a while.  Around 5:00 we made our way to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  Its great that the place is open until 8:00 on the weekends. They even had a Jazz band playing and set up a liquor stand. Nice!

Macu enjoyed the place. He is just in awe of everything.

The next day, we did a round of the 17 Mile Drive.

Our last stop was the Old Fisherman's Wharf.  All the restaurants allow you to sample their clam chowder.  By the time we reached the end, we were already full!  We decided to eat there though so we are good for the long drive home. We decided to eat at Crabby Jim's since they had the best clam chowder out of all the restaurants there (and most restaurants don't allow strollers inside. what's up with that?) The food is pricey as with any tourist spot. The servings are not generous too. We expected more and the food was mediocre.

We couldn't leave without dropping by Dennis the Menace Playground for Macu.  I think if he were older, he would have enjoyed it more.

That concludes our road trip! We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it to you folks out there!
